I am so sad to hear of Berni's passing. She was a wonderful boss at the Phillies and was always there to help if I needed her. After suffering a freak injury at work, she would check up on me and moves me to a section where I felt comfortable working again. She even called me personally to see how I was doing, which just showed how caring of a person she was. I am glad that I got to know her. Rest In Peace, Berni.

To my great friend Bernie. How many times did we walk down that ramp from the usherette room. How many times did you come out and tell me how awesome Lisa's daughter Christie when she was little would tell you I was because I would tell her that the smoke stack accross from the vet was a missile launching stack and then that story would carry on to Lisa's son Kevin and he would believe it to. I will also remember and cherish the fact that you would tell me every day how much you loved the video tape I had made for you of everyone sending you well wishes when you had your heart attack. As years went by and we moved from our home Veterans Stadium and into a new cold atmosphere Citizens Bank Park where the Phillies no longer were the family atmosphere that we enjoyed but just a place of business ,we lost those days of seeing each other every day and laughing like we would in the Vet. One final memory I will always remember was when you and I played cards in The Usherette Room when we had that game that went until 5.30 in the morning and both of us dozing off at the table until someone came running in saying it was over and woke us up.
I lost my Mom and Dad a short time ago and I know they will show you around up there. You now as they do belong to the ages and someday we will all meet up again
Always your friend...
