To the love of my life. I knew it was going to
be hard for me to lose you. We had a wonderful
46 years. When you find out your partner is so sick and that you only have a short time every minute is important. I was blessed with a few short weeks. I know he is in heaven with his family and friends.I miss him every minute.

His friend and wife. Jean

Dear Jean and Family,
I am so sorry to learn today of Charlie's passing. I met him in late June when Charlie was my husband's hospital roommate, when my husband was admitted for kidney stones. I had the pleasure of talking with Charlie and Jean, and getting to know Charlie a bit while I was hanging out in the hospital room.

He was a kind, brave, and strong gentleman who was more worried about his wife and family than he was about himself. I enjoyed our conversations and am grateful I got the chance to meet him, if only briefly. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Charlie for his service to our country in the Army, and to send my condolences to Jean and family.

Uncle Charlie, I was so sad to hear of your passing. I'll never forget the great times us kids had with you and Aunt Jean while we were growing up. The best was dancing in mom moms livingroom with Jean playing the accordion while everybody danced the polka. You were the funnest uncle ever. I wore your reliance jacket you gave me for years. Thanks for always smiling . I won't ever forget you. Love you always, and I will miss you forever.
