I barley remember my uncle Harry, but i am sad to hear of his passing. I am the son of his brother Fred.
January 17, 2018

Thanks for all that came to my father's memorial service and celebration of life. I would also like to thank all those that lifted me in prayer, God heard you all. Love you dad.

BECAUSE OF YOU

I am who I am because of you,
You're the reason for my life.
You gave me courage, and my strength.
You said to standup for those who are in need, not just for myself.
Be forgiving and loving both at the same time, and that won't be easy.. but you have to find away.
I am trying to write this and I hope it will rhyme.
I feel you Dad in all that I do

You taught me to fight back, to never back down.
How to pick myself up, when I've been knocked down.
To fight for what I believe in, and try not to sin.
I feel you Dad in all that I do.

You gave me my stubbornness,.. mom did too!!!
You gave me pride and my temperament too.
To speak my mind, and work for what I want.
I feel you Dad in all that I do

You told me to keep my emotions in check.
Even when I thought my whole life was a wreck.
You said we can handle large amounts of pain.
You sat with me at the window, when it started to rain.
You knew how my mind worked most of the time.
I even go this poem to sound like a rhyme
I feel you Dad in all that I do

Even though you have (had) to leave.
I know I may stumble, I may fall.
And get hurt along my life's way.
Just know I'll pick myself up, and stand nice and tall.
I'm so honored and proud that you are my dad.
I love you Daddy with all of my heart.
Give mom a kiss, your both back at start.
I'll see you someday that I know for sure
When I come I know you'll be waiting at the door.
Until that day, I will feel you Dad in all that I do.
Love ❤ always your little girl Ruth Ann.

I was so sorry to hear about Harry's passing. During my supervision of the store room at the flight kitchen, Harry was so much of a joy to work with. His humor was very contagious as was his incredible desire to organize the daily tasks as a lead FSC. I will never forget his inspiring laugh as was dearly needed in the daily busy receiving of food items, as well as the end of month inventories. He was by far my best lead that always brought a viable solution to the many chaotic situations and there were many. To Harry's family, I wish you the best at this time of grief. Harry was a great person and he will be dearly missed.
