Madeline Micola Obituary

Madeline “Dee” Micola (nee Duffy) Madeline “Dee” Micola (nee Duffy), 78, of Port St. Lucie, FL (formerly of Broomall, PA) left this world on September 2, 2021 after a defiant battle with cancer. Dee was born in Philadelphia to Madeline (nee Taylor) and Peter Duffy on October 9, 1942. She graduated from West Catholic Girls’ High School in 1960. She will be forever missed by her children: Maria Micola (David Lasensky), Anthony Micola, Jr. (Loretta), Michele Micola (Dennis Carroll) and David Micola (Amber). Dee was a loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren: Douglas DiTomo, Zachary & Matthew Lasensky, Joseph & Madelaina Murphy, Kelly Micola and David Micola, Jr. Her great grandchildren: Anthony DiTomo and Zachary Lasensky have truly lost a buddy. Dee will be remembered by her family and many close friends for her kind and compassionate spirit, her quick wit and infectious laugh. Love makes memories and life precious. She was truly loved. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on December 4, 2021 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 3625 Chapel Road, Newtown Square. In lieu of flowers, please give as you are able to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund, 930 SW Tunis Avenue, Port St. Lucie, FL. Dee will be so very happy!
