Dorothy Parasink Obituary

Dorothy C. Parasink (née Evanoski) 92, of Folsom, PA, died Friday at Kindred Hospital, Havertown, PA.
Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Evanoski. She lived in Folsom for the past 50 years, and recently retired to Plush Mills.
Dorothy was employed by CCMC and Gilbert's Florist, volunteered at Taylor Hospital, and was a founding member of the Springfield Healthplex. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and Ridley Community Chorus.
Predeceased by her husband, John M. Parasink, siblings Walter and Adele, her sons in-law, Guy Provenzano and Dr. Ron Vallorani. Survived by three daughters: Cynthia Vallorani, Dorothea Provenzano and Diana (Mark) Irrgang, Sister, Marie (Ray) Davis, and Grandchildren, Ian and Jenna (Nick).
Memorial Mass Wednesday at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Amosland Road, Morton, PA. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Building Fund, OLPH Court at 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA, 19070.
