1940-2017 Robert L. “Bob” Orcutt, 77 died at Kindred Hospital on October 18, 2017 surrounded by his family. Son of the late Don and Floss Orcutt, he was born and raised in Upper Darby. Bob graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1958. He served 7 years with the Pennsylvania National Guard. He worked for the Philadelphia Electric Company for 37 years, retiring in 1995. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed working tirelessly on his yard. He loved spending his many winters at America Outdoors in Fort Myers, FL and his summers at home in Springfield, working in his backyard or enjoying his pool. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Maryann (nee Marella); his loving children, Rob (Karen), Michael (Kathy), Kevin (Barbara). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, John, Rachael, Jessica, Michael, Taylor and Jennifer and his devoted brother, Jack. He was predeceased by his son, Chuck and his brother, Don. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, October 21st at 9:00am and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kindred Hospital, 2000 Old West Chester Pike, Havertown, PA 19083.

The shock of learning of Bob's death is still with me and I can't express strongly enough how truly sorry I am.
