So sorry for your loss, I spent a total of 13 years in post high school education.
Obtained an associates, bachelors, 2 masters, and a doctorate. By far Professor Nevilles, history class in the spring of 1990 at Salisbury Stare was my favorite. Awesome teacher! Prayers for the Lords comfort during this difficult time.

Mrs Neville, I am so sorry for your loss.
I thought alot of your husband, he will always be in my heart. He was an amazing History Professor and a wonderful person. I was one of his students that hated history because, I thought or was nothing but having to memorize dates. But, he opened my eyes and now I have the passion of learning more and more about history. My husband always loved history and now we enjoy it together, exploring every historical sites or museum we can find. Thank you so much Mr. Neville for giving me the passion to love history as you did. He was also so sweet, and truly loved his students, at the end of each class, he would tell everyone "I love you all in the right way". He will be greatly missed. During his lectures, he always said " If I was a wise student this would be STAR WORTHY" **Rest in Peace Mr. Neville**.

I have not lived on the Eastern Shore for more than 35 years but when my mother told me of Barry's passing, it was very sad news. I remember Barry from Shockley's Store where he worked in the late 1970's and he was a few years ahead of me at Stephen Decatur High School. It makes me very happy to learn that he became a beloved history professor because I remember he loved history. He always had a smile and a kind word. I'm not surprised that he became a volunteer clergy at the hospital. He seemed to always endeavor to lift people's spirits. I agree with another writer that he was an "earth angel". I hope it is a comfort to his family that he was so fondly remembered by folks near and far in both time and place.
