Dear family,
We always enjoyed your Mom & Dad & all you young'uns and feel so close to you. We used to visit Beulah when we spent our winters in Florida. Then we were happy when she moved back here. I was hoping to get out & visit her more, but with Russ's failing health-I needed to stay close to home. We love all of you and know how hard it is to lose a loved one, but we know she is now with our Heavenly Father and we will all be together again some day. Our love and prayers are with you. Oh, Mary Jane, your mama was so generous of her time to travel with our Girl Scout troop to Europe. Her generosity with her wisdom painted a good path for my life. I remained close to Doris Mumford, her fishin' friend, until her death. It's always important to influence the next generation, and that's what your mama did by teaching her class Waltzing Matilda or by going though the "stations" that were created in her memorable classroom. (So much work- for her.) Your mama taught me the importance of organization, intelligence, and always working hard to influence others in a healthy way. Love, Holly
