Erlene H. Doane
Princess Anne - Erlene H. "Sister" Doane, 64, of Princess Anne departed this life Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne. Born, August 27, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Doane and Judia "Judy" Forbes-Cartwright.
She is survived by seven brothers, Nathan Morris, Frank, David, Nathaniel and Carlton Robinson, Anthony Cartwright and Gardner Doane; four sisters, Cassandra Gallop, Eleanora Butts, Bonnie Polk and Carmen Curraton; special cousins, Gail Jones and Joyce Cottman; a best friend, Yvonne Elmore and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her adoptive mother, Mary Moore and one sister, Iris Riddick.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Mount Hope A.M.E. Zion Church in Princess Anne with a viewing one-hour prior. Interment will be at the Church Cemetery.
