To: Pete and Steve: I knew Doc Engler from my freshman year at Salisbury University back in 1977. You may remember me, Darlene "Dar" Raber. My roommates were Kathy "Jake", "Grite", Diane Thomas, Kathy O and Kathy "Griff". He was a wonderful man and I loved him dearly. I remained friends with Doc Engler and his wife for many, many years. He attended my wedding in 1982, and I have visited him and Ms. Marty many times with my husband and two boys over the years. We stayed in touch for such a long time, exchanging Christmas cards and emails. Unfortunately, I lost touch with him and Ms. Marty about six or seven years ago. I would have liked him to know my youngest son, Grant, graduated from Salisbury in 2015. I am so sorry I was not aware of his passing or Ms. Marty's passing last year. He was such an awesome man. I will miss him and Ms. Marty dearly. My deepest sympathies to you both and your families.

I am so sorry to hear that. He was the best teacher ever, and set me onto my career path. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Engler's teachings, and guidance. Prayers to the family!
