Berlin - Mindy Quinn Zimmer, of Berlin, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021. She was born on July 31, 1966 in Baltimore, MD. In 1989, she moved to the Eastern shore and became a cherished member of her beloved community. Owning several salons, Mindy was passionate about her work and her clients.

She was a devoted mother to her children, Damian and Alora Lockhart, beloved daughter of Marty Quinn, cherished sister to Erin Cerf and John Quinn, and life-long soul sister to Michelle Flayhart and Carol Hallinan. She will be missed by her family, countless friends, and her spiritual community.

Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com.

Mindy brought light into darkness, enthusiasm into boredom, vivacity into monotony. For over a decade I visited her shop as much for the haircut as for sharing and prayer. Mindy didn't have to go anywhere to spread the Gospel; she did it standing still with scissors and blowdrier. Damian and Alora, she loved you so much and always told of the joy you brought her every day. I will keep you both close to my heart in prayer that God's comfort and peace may wrap you up in love.

Mindy was such a sweetheart. Very kind. Always encouraging. She trusted God with a visible faith & raised her children in the admonition of the Lord. She was an awesome, supportive & faithful friend....and boy could she talk. If I know nothing else, I know her new address is heaven, and while I will certainly miss her, I rejoice because I know I will see her again. Earth has NO sorry that heaven can’t heal.

I have known Mindy since the 90's. She was a friend and sister in ACOA . She was a talented hair stylist and beautified every client she touched including me. I grieve for the loss of her but praise God for ending her suffering and calling her home.
