Dickie as he was always know to me was a man of many talents. He was my go to man. When I had a problem and couldn't figure it out on my own-he always had the solution. He could weld, he could paint, he could woodwork....
He was soo much more than that though.
If you had a problem he was there to help...
If you had a question he was there to answer it...
And if you had something personal or bothering you he was there to lend an ear...
If you never got to know him well boy did you miss out! I'm telling you if something was wrong he could fix it-and fix it right. He was a perfectionist. He set his standards high and was very fortunate during this lifetime to do so much more than others have done.
Down to earth, caring, and a true friend. Dickie you've taught me so much and I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed. You were one of the very few good friends of mine.
I will miss you dearly buddy!

Yes he was a man of so man talents and particular about everything it had to be right. He is in no more pain and I know he is with an old friend my dad Jimmy Smith, As Doris use to say if you 2 would charge them what your worth. They just loved to do it and lend a helping hand. God Bless you Doris and family. I'm so sorry for your loss, but you can bet he is walking those golden roads and the pain has left his body. Amen
