thinking about you Gord. Miss the good times we had - seems like just the other day.

Gord and I spent a lot of time together in the late 60's. It was a highlight of my life. I have fond recollections of some of our weekend "trips". Over the years we did not keep in touch as much as I would have liked. Thousands of miles of distance has an impact on friendship.
Gord, Lily, John and Julie came to California early 1980's and spent a few days with us. We went to Disneyland, Catalina Island, and on their way back up north, we all went to Solvang (a quaint little Danish village up the California coast). Lily felt a special connection to the town due to her heritage.
In September of 1994 my wife RoseMarie and I surprised Gord with a visit. He was a gracious host and took us on a grand tour of the islands on his boat. We always thought that we would do a repeat of that trip. Sorry Gord - time and distance got in the way.
John and Julie - if you are ever in southern California, please let us know - we are family. ([email protected])

Gordy had a way of grabbing life and living in the moment. A special gift he has passed on to all who knew him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

We are very sorry to learn of the untimely death of Gordon. His quality of work will remain unparalleled and we are sorry that the family business will not be continued, at least in Tsawwassen. Our memories of him/his work will continue whenever we use the pieces of his beautifully upholstered furniture in our home. Our condolences to the family.

So sad to hear of Gordy passing. You couldn't ask for a kinder heart. A man whose laughter was contagious and a smile that was viral. The world is a little less fortunate but the angels are happy. We will always be grateful for having him touch our lives. Thank you for the Love. Who is going to drive Miss Daisey ?
