Wes was born May 22, 1937 in Burlington, WA and passed away on January 13, 2018. Wes graduated in 1955 from Highline High School in Seattle, WA. In his early years he served as a deputy sheriff in King County, WA. His career spanned many years working as a machinist. He retired from Boeing in 1994. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Over the years he had many faithful dogs and adored his last dog Pancho. After retirement he spent many years traveling across the United States including many trips to Seattle to visit family. He settled in Deming, New Mexico where he enjoyed the remaining years of his life. He was "so" proud to live in Deming; the weather and the people are what he loved. He will be greatly missed by his children, Lorilee (Brett) Herrin, Colleen Kent, Elaine (John) Piaquadio, all of Washington and Mitchell (Barbara) Kent of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Melinda, Damien, Blake, Amber, Elizabeth, Landon, Jeffrey, and Mason, and one great grandchild, Blu. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 9:30am to 10am with the funeral service beginning at 10am with Pastor, Cesar Chavez officiating at CitiLife Church. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Mitchell Wesley, Brett Kent and John Piaquadio.
