I will cherish the times we spent watching dog and home improvement shows well we would sit in her bed talking for hours. All of the amazing Chinese meals that we would order and share together, and of course we always painted our nails together! I will miss her strong outspoken personality and the many stories she told. I am lucky to have gotten as close to Angie over the last two-and-a-half years and to call her a friend.

Almost 14 years ago I was grief stricken and broken hearted over
the loss of my fury soulmate Bosco. It was from a network of reputable Pomeranian breeders that I was connected with Angela Nisbet. It was from that referral that I gained my next four-legged fuzzy bundle of joy and also a friendship with Angie.

For years she was the only one I could trust to love and care for my fur kids in a way that I was comfortable with when I was out of town. She even allowed my little pom Reina to sleep in bed with herself and five other Pomeranian bedmates. I recall visiting one evening and one of Angie' s little bedmates, Tulip was barking earnestly from the bed summoning Angie to bed.

I asked her fellow dog breeders and handlers from the Dog Show community what they remembered most about Angie. What was mentioned several times was how much fun she was to be around. One of the handlers said when at the dog shows she purposely sought out Angie because she could count on sharing a laugh a joke and lots of giggles. Another handler said that Angie always kept him on his toes! They had a rapport as they are bantering back and forth trading insults or rather receiving her insults as she always seems to be one step ahead and quick witted.

One breeder mentioned that she was a passionate and colorful character. I like to remember her as being "spicy". Angie had a way of adding flavor and zest to life but not everyone could handle her heat. In that was Angie was truly authentic. You always knew where you stood with Angie and she wasn't afraid to let you know.

She often said that her dream was to die in the ring and if she were to drop dead there than take the dog lead, step over me and keep showing my dog.

Angie 's dogged determination was apparent in how she pushed through her physical challenges as her body was wearing out. It was a marvel that she could continue as she did despite all her, traumas, illnesses and surgeries.

If it' s true that all dogs go to heaven than I think Angela is feeling right at home with Tulip and bedmates summoning her home again. May you rest in peace my dear friend.

Rest in peace . I am glad thatnow you are with Mom, George and Renee'.

I miss you so much. I wish I was able to make your life a little longer here on earth. You know when you told me that when you leave I will be all by myself. You were so right.

Now you can have that you can have that family reunion that you wanted so bad with all of those relatives that you kept asking about.

Give Mom, George (and tell him I still remember those piggy back rides), Renee', Grandma Theresa, Grandpa Sam, Aunt Mary, Aunt Sally and Uncle Joe (Bingo) hugs and kisses. They are all missed down here.

Now go find your Thelma and go for that adventure you two wanted to do.

Love Janie
