Dare I say that Bernie taught me tap lessons 68 years ago. I have so many wonderful memories of our classes and recitals. He was always smiling, and ever so patient with me. I am left-handed and forever would start with my left foot. He took a piece of chalk and put a tiny X on the toe of my right foot, so I would know with which foot to lead.
Bernie, enjoy your dancing to the Heavenly Choir!

Bernie was my line dancing teacher at Oasis. He was so light on his feet and encouraged all of us to enjoy dancing as much as he did. Always smiling with an exuberant personality! So glad our paths crossed. He will never be forgotten.
