Bernice A. Hamilton (Woodward)

West Bloomfield - January 5, 2021 at age 81. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Hammond of Gasport; grandchildren, Amy (Mundher) Kassim, Bryan (Marissa) Hammond; grandchildren, Cora Covey, Waylen Mucha, Malik Kassim, Colden, Riley Hammond; several nieces and nephews. Bernice was predeceased by her husband, Paul Hamilton. She was a former member of the American Polled Hereford Association. She spent her lifetime, long with her husband, raising registered Polled Herefords and showing them at local and state fairs. They won various awards including the Reserved Polled Bull Champion and Herdsman Award at the Harrisburg, PA Expo. She and Paul were very proud owners of Polled Herefords.

Services and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Private interment Evergreen - Baptist Hill Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620. I bought a few Polled Hereford bulls from Bernice and Paul years back. Our daughter's showed our cattle with her grandchildren at the Ont. Cty Fair and State Fair. Bernice was the consumate cattlewoman. My condolences to the families........

So sorry to hear about Bernice's passing.
My daughter Kelly purchased her first heifer calf from Bernice about 32 years ago and named the heifer Bernice.
Bernice's passion for her cattle was unequaled.
She will be missed by all of us in the Dorman Family.
Rest in Peace Bernice.
