Impossible to believe that a woman so full of light and love, appetite and appreciation is gone.
She could have been a brilliant politician, lawyer, architect, interior designer and public speaker.
She remains ever in my heart.

A light has gone!

Carlene was a model for all of us. Speak up, speak out, engage! Carlene always had a sense of the right thing to do - with a wealth of background information to support her views.

She will be missed.

Carlene had a wonderful sense of aesthetics and work ethic. Last summer when the new refrigerator would not fit in the barn... there was despair! But Carlene envisioned how to totally rearrange the kitchen to not just make it fit, but to make the room look better. The right proportion of what could go where.
She had a great eye for beauty and art which is why her antique store did so well. She knew a lot about a lot and She will be missed.

Carlene was a fun and friendly lady. I always enjoyed seeing her at a gathering, because she was such a reliable friendly face. You couldn't be with her and not smile -- and laugh. My condolences go out to her son Don Beurlien, and his wife (my cousin) Colleen Richenberg. Sorry I did not see the notice until now. -- Stephanie Aldersley Price
