Catherine Marie Manilla

Rochester - Earned her much deserved angel wings. Originally from Sharon (Mercer County), PA, and grew up in Brookfield, OH. She is predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Carmella (Minnie Franco/Frank) Manilla and her siblings, Mary, Ernestine, Anthony, Rose, Clara, and Archie (Marcellino) Manilla. She is survived by her nieces, Debra (Joe Jennings) Koch and family from Greece, NY; Tracy (David ) Schwertfeger and family from Kingsland GA, Thomas (Carol) LaBelle and family from Lake View, NY. Many more nieces, nephews and dear friends. She worked at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo, NY for 38 years where she was an Assistant in Oral Surgery and coordinated the Dental Residency program with the University of Buffalo. Upon retirement, she moved to Rochester to enjoy time with her niece and family. She was very proud of her Italian heritage from Caserta and Avellino, Campania, Italy. She loved Italian food and was a weekly regular at the Brook House in Greece for many years. She lived a happy Christian life, attended St. Theodore's Church in Gates, and was loved by all who met her.
