Rochester: February 20, 2012 at age 88. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy and daughter, Marie Michael. Survived by his children, Ross and Lorraine (Edmund) Hart; grandchildren, Elisabeth, Susanna and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Kylah, Dominic, Isa and Sabriyah. Dominic was a WW II Army Veteran and retired from the Rochester City Fire Dept. Karaoke singing was a big part of his life.

His Funeral Service will be held Friday 11 AM at the Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd. (Near Norton). Private Interment Riverside Cemetery.

Ross, it was really good to see you again last weekend and thanks so much for going the extra miles to be a blessing to us! I am praying for you to get your miracle that you need. God Bless you!

Dear Russo Family,
I am saddened to hear of your loss. I knew Dom only for the last couple of years since he started coming to our Karaoke show on Friday's in Webster. He instantly became the hit of the night and everyone in the place loved him. It will not be the same without him. At least he gave us some CD's of his and you can bet we will play at least one song each Friday in his Memory. God bless you all.

Dear Ross,
My wife, Audrey & I, were so sorry to hear about your Dad. What a wonderful man he was! We so enjoyed our friendship with Dom (and your mother) for so many years. He was always cheerful and fun, and what a great cook! How we did love his generous gifts of chili, soup, and spaghetti sauce .
You have our prayers and deepest sympathy as you mourn the loss of your Dad. You meant so much to him and we hope the memories of the special friendship you shared will be a comfort to you.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your Dad would come in to Gaetano's Bakery and get bread and sing to me and gave me some of his CD's. He always came in smiling and singing. He will be missed, but I could listen to his music anytime, Angelina from Gaetano's

I use to live next door to Dominic and Dorothy on Southampton Drive. Dominic was a great guy and he will be missed. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.

I use to work with your Dad at the Ridge Road fire station back in the early seventies. He was a great guy and a wonderful cook. We had a lot of good times in that station - a lot of laughs, many of which were prompted by him. I have great memories of him and the others that worked there.

Sorry about your loss, but I truly believe he is in a better place and most likely is entertaining everybody with his great voice.
