My sister Mary Schneggenburger just informed me that your Mom passed. I had the blessing of speaking with her when I'd visit Rochester from NYC and walk Coco with Mary. She was definitely a bright caring light and I would ask Mary if she had seen her. She is missed by more people than you can imagine. She is one of those "Consequential Strangers" you meet and don't forget. I imagine her partying away with your Dad and aunts and uncles. Peace

I am sorry to just now (1/22/2018) learn that Eleanor, my "next street over" neighbor and friend passed. I met Eleanor as she would say hello from her porch, as over the years I would be walking my dog; first Cleo, then Lady, then Andy and finally Coco. I learned so much about the neighborhood, how it was, how it has changed. When I wouldn't see her after a long absence, I would apologize and say, "I haven't seen you, so I looked your name up in the obituary". She would smile at that and just proclaim, "No, here I am".
I am sorry, so sorry and wish Eleanor, "God Speed" and much love. Thank-you for making this neighborhood home to me, and giving me connection to its history.
God bless you to her family. You were everything and more to her.

Mr. and Mrs. Duffy were a few of the first people I met when I moved here to Rochester more than 22 years ago. I will always remember how sweet and kind they both were and how you could always count on them to say hello while they were sitting on their porch when my wife and I would go for a walk in the neighborhood. After Mr. Duffy passed, Mrs. Duffy remained the sweet and pleasant person she always was and whenever my wife and I took our walks in the neighborhood (now with family in tow), we always loved stopping by to say hello and have a little chat with her. Such a sweet and kind person who will be missed by many. Prayers to her family.

Dear Phil, Marilyn, and Colleen,

I remember all of you Phil and Colleen and especially Marilyn. Your mom was a wonderful person. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was always so nice to me and I will never forget her.

Marilyn, I stayed at your house and lived on Ravine Avenue. Give me a call and maybe we can meet sometime. My phone is 392-4462 in Hilton. We haven't seen each other in a long time.

I will keep all of you in my prayers!

Best regards,

Sharon (Shari) Ludlow
