Of the many memories I have of my cousin Chickie, one stands out. When I was 10 or 11 years old, more than 50 years ago, Chickie taught me to sew. Together, at our grandparents' home, we made a flowered flannel nightgown. I felt so special that she would take me to pick out the fabric, etc. and spend the time with me. I still have that nightgown! It has been in my hope chest all these years after I outgrew it.
Chickie, I know you are happy with Our Lord, His Blessed Mother, and your family.
I will miss you.
Love, Rosannie
