Holley: Jacquelyn "Jackie" F. Sherman, age 80, passed away April 18, 2016 at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence. Jackie was born November 14, 1935 in Rochester, NY to the late Gordon and Wilma Coats.
Jackie was a long time active member of Holley First Presbyterian Church, the church choir and the quilting group.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul, children; Kenneth (Kristin) Sherman, Sandra Smith, Lynda (Jim) Fleck, Sherri (Peter) Sweetnam, Patricia Kielty, brother; David (Nancy) Coats, sister; Sharon (John) Robinette, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no prior calling hours. A Memorial service for Jackie will be held at the Holley First Presbyterian Church, 34 East Albion St. on Friday April 22nd at 11:00AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at White Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jackie's name may be made to the church, Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 or the National MS Society P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163. Arrangements are entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Holley, NY.
