As a young 1st cousin , I didn’t have the privilege to get to know James during his early years, but his name was always revered and respected. As an adult and in his latter years, I had the opportunity to have conversations with him more and came to admire his statue even more. In some respect, he reminded me of my own father, his uncle. May they both Rest In Peace.

What a gentle Giant, such a loveable and likeable person. He was always smiling and offering kindness to everybody. All the years I saw him at Eastman Kodak back in the 1970- 1980's, he never changed; he showed respect to little people like me and was always a gentleman. We'll truly miss him! He, like many of his generation are swiftly leaving, but his legacy will last forever. Family stick together and be encouraged; be like him! God Bless!
