On the occasion of making a career change, I was looking in the internet for the contact details of friends, colleagues and acquaintances whom i would like to inform, because of how they impressed me in the near and deeper past, and left good memories. This is how I learned about Ken's passing. Although so many months gone by, i would like to extend my condolences to Mrs. Conrad. I used to work in the Netherlands office of a global insurance company, on a case that must have been one of Ken's largest and most interesting cases (the Retsof mine). I worked on this case together with a U.S. colleague whose name caused some confusion in Ken's office when she called the first time, and I fondly remember the talks with Ken, both during and after business, the lunches and dinners, his entertaining way of explaining his arguments and anecdotes, his account on the process of getting a European chandelier over, and his big sense of mild and tasteful humor. It is all years ago, but still very vivid in my memory. I just read something he wrote on his wordpress page about a Suggestion Box, and when reading it, I can see him sitting there are telling his stories again. He is one of the people I always remember.

Jane, Kenny was truly a special guy. He had a gift for writing and a great sense of humor. I have so many great memories of the Walzer road gang. His unique view of all the neighborhood personalities brings back so many wonderful memories. We had some fun times together. I only regret that we didn't have some time together in our later years. I'm sure there would have been a lot of laughing. Good bye to a good friend.

Ken participated in the writers group at the Camden Library and his wit and sense of humor brought us all many laughs.

Jane - I just learned of Ken's passing and am so very sorry for your loss. Your love for him was so evident every time you talked of him and I know from seeing the two of you together how much he cherished you. Thinking of you and praying for peace as you face this difficult time.

Love,

Kelly McCarthy
