Very fond memories of Sister Borremeo on a summer trip to Europe in 1977. She was a fabulous tour guide and chaperone.

I will always think of Sr. Borromeo fondly as I remember Latin ll and my horrible attempt to translate a passage that including something about a fountain...I added "frogs" to it. She made her famous disapproving expression and then turned and hid a laugh. Thank you for helping me pass that course, Sister. RIP, and God bless!

Sr. Borromeo taught me French for 4 years at Mercy! And, she was "brave" enough to accompany the French club on at least 2 week-long trips to Quebec City, Canada during our Easter break! What happy memories and what a wonderful person! Sending love and prayers.
