I am very sorry Barbara,Patty, Bill. I learned of Paul's passing in the PDRTA news letter. Paul was a
wonderful colleague and friend, a wonderful friend. He truly was a role model for the students and faculty at Pittsford Sutherland. Paul was an incredible and tough goalie for Ithaca given his height and size. The U of R traveled to Ithaca in the
fall of 1962 to face Ithaca, a very tough team. We did win the game, but the only reason we won the game, the score tied 2-2, was with a shot on goal in
the corner, Paul as he dove for the ball hit his head on the goal post and was knocked out. I often would remind Paul, "Hey Paul, remember the game when you were knocked out and we won the game. Paul would usually respond with that wonderful smile of his, shaking his head yes he remembered.

I will always remember Paul fondly at Reservoir Creek Golf course. He always was the teacher and enjoyable golfer. I heard about his death at my grandsons football game where he attends Pittsford Sutherland High School. My best thoughts and prayers extend to Barbara. Diane

Barb and family, At a time like this, one can only say how sorry we are. I remember Paul as a kind, gentle man with a great sense of humor, a lust for life and family and very successful and treasured by his Pittsford family. The timing of our reunion a couple of weeks ago made me happy and know that I will be there for you. Love, Pat Meyering.
