Barber, Gene P. 'Pierre'
Irondequoit, New York: Passed away on, August 22nd, 2017 at the age of 90 with his family by his side. Predeceased by his, wife of 62 years, Beatrice Jean. He is survived by his children, Paula (Mario) Barber, Patricia (Robert) Haak, Steven J. (Michelle), Gene (Cyndi) and John (Sharon); 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and close friends; and his devoted dog Jessie. He will be fondly remembered by friends and family as a loving father, owner of Pierre's Coiffure for 52 years, WWII Veteran, avid golfer and gardner.
Family will receive friends on Sunday August 27th 2017 from 4PM - 6PM, at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Boulevard. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 28th 2017 at 9:30AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 401 Rogers Parkway Rochester NY 14617. Interment at, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
