I vividly remember growing up with Vinny on Clifton street. We had a great relationship. He lived upstairs from me. We saw each other every day. We played baseball, hotbox, football, hockey and any other sport we found interesting. When we weren't outside playing, we were inside getting into all kinds of mischief. We went to school at Saint Lucy's and were altar boys together. We were on the same team (The Seminoles) during our seasons playing KPAA Softball. We spent summers working at Olympic Park on Scottsville road and we also were classmates at Edison Tech. In 1964, I remember Uncle Vinny driving us to school each morning in his white Chevy Biscayne as our houses were being built in Chili. We lived next door to each other on Andony Lane. Once Vinny went into the service, we hardly saw each other any more. Then as our lives became more complicated, we kind of lost touch but all the childhood memories never faded for me. I truly meant to contact Vinny these past months and deeply regret not doing so. He was truly "My Cousin Vinny". Rest In Peace Vinnie Boy.
