Ronald "Ron" John Boillat

Pittsford - June 21, 2020. Unexpectedly at the age of 61, Ron went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ron was first and foremost a follower of Jesus, described by his friends as a "prayer warrior". With a passion for the outdoors, dogs and sports, he loved to spend time on Canandaigua Lake and hunting across North America. Ron loved to coach youth sports, including football, soccer and baseball, and served as an incredible role model and touched the lives of countless youth across the Rochester area. Additionally, he volunteered and served the Rochester community through his involvement on various boards.

Ron will be greatly missed by the many friends he laughed with and the family he deeply loved. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lori; sons, Conner and Cole; brothers, Joe and Rick; and his dog, Gracie.

At this time of grief and mourning, remember one of his many Ronisms: "Lighten up spanky!"

There will be a private ceremony on Sunday, June 28, with a larger gathering to be scheduled for the late summer. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make donations in Ron's memory to MCC Foundation, 1057 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester 14623 or Browncroft Community Church, 2530 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester 14625 or Young Life Rochester East, 1143 Chimney Trail, Webster 14580. I met Ron first as a client when I moved to Rochester in 1992, later meeting Lori and becoming friends. Ron & Lori were the friends my husband Greg and I would say we need to see more often, then go about our busy lives, proving again that we need to say and do everything we wish to right now. The loss of such energy and verve that Ron possessed, with his beautiful smile and quick laugh, is still unreal. Sending light and love to Lori, Conner and Cole with all our hearts.
