Sue, we hope the love of your family and friends and the joy that brings comforts you at this painful time. Stan's ability to impact people was amazing. He brought with him memories and experiences that had us laughing like fools or contemplating like philosophers. We loved that about him. He will be missed.

I just want to share that Stan had a profound impact on me my senior year of high school. In 1973 I played for him on the very first basketball team he coached at the old JY on Andrews street in Rochester. He highlighted my drive and athletic prowess that I had not truly realized. Socially and athletically at that time I lacked some confidence. After highlighting some of these things after our 2nd game in front of our entire team, I believe I became the high scorer for 2 of the last 3 games he coached for that team, and I had multiple steals every game thereafter. With his words he instilled much care, concern, and confidence in me, not only as an athlete, but as a person as well. I will always hold Stan with the highest regard and respect for the incredible individual he was. I was so fortunate to have known him and will miss him dearly.

All my reverence and condolences,
Gary Kleiman

Sorry to hear of Mr. Albert's passing, he was a valued member of Board 60 Basketball officials and I was fortunate to know him. I especially enjoyed his stories about Mr. Les Harrison and his neighbor Mr. Al Cervi, all legends. Rest in Peace partner.
