Dear Tod and Lisa,
My deepest sympathy over the loss of your precious father. Two months after his passing, I still click on Legacy to see his beautiful smile, which warms my heart. Stu was such a kind, caring and talented man, and above all, he was a man of faith & integrity. Your Dad & Mom were such good friends to my parents and oh how my parents relished their annual trips to Keuka Lake each summer! They laughed, told stories and had endless fun at the lake. I hope that my Dad and your father have linked up in heaven, and their special friendship continues throughout the ages. Heaven has a new angel but the loss on earth is great.
My Mom, who is 89 now, talks so fondly about
your Dad. She would like to make a donation to Habitat for Humanity in his honor this holiday season. Your Dad touched our lives forever with his love and laughter. We miss you, Stu.
Always and forever, Lynne (Miller) Burrier

Dear Tod and Lisa,

We are not able to make it to the service for your father because of family commitments. We do want to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with him and with you.

Stu was John's next-door office mate for all the years he was at the Brighton campus. They saw each other every day and worked together day and night on the "other" book.

He was a friendly, cheerful, dedicated man. The world is a better place because he was here.

Fondly,

John and Gerry Ernst

Stu has been a part of my life since Lisa and I were in preschool together. At their home, he always had such a great smile and laugh. He taught me carpentry skills and other life skills while traveling together with the TCPC youth group. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. Love to Lisa and Todd.

Stu was a precious and kind man. On behalf of the MCC Foundation, we express our deepest sympathy to his family. Stu was a very generous man who had an extraordinary passion for Math and student success. He and Joyce expressed that passion by creating a scholarship that will last in perpetuity and continue his legacy at MCC. I will miss my summer visits to his home on Keuka Lake and rides to get lunch on his boat. Thank you Stumy thoughts an prayers are with you and your family.
