Linda is survived by her loving husband of 58 years John Shaughnessy, children; Patrick (Vicki) , Mary Lynn (Douglas Watson), Brendon (Debbie), grandchildren; Patrick (Ashley), Craig (Megan), Rachel (Dan Barone), Cole, Keith, Victoria, , Jamie, Jack, Noah & Ava Shaughnessy, Douglas & Nicholas Watson, Carrie Bishop, 5 great grandchildren; Kaiden & Owen Shaughnessy, Coral & Colton Bishop & Haley Watson, brother, Gerard (Joy) Harster, nephews; Ryan (Amity) & their new daughter Alice, & Jesse Harster, sister-in-law,Mary Anne Antos , nephews; Michael, Jim (Tess) Antos, special daughter-in-law, Colleen Shaughnessy. Linda sang in church and community choirs, played the violin and did line and square dancing. Her love of animals led her to volunteer at Lollypop Farm and The Bird Sanctuary in Florida. Linda was a loving woman who became an EMT and volunteered at 2 Hospices. She got lifelong joy from her family, friends and swimming.
Her family will receive friends TUESDAY, September 12th from 1-3pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.), where her funeral service will be held TUESDAY 3:00 PM. Interment private. Memorials may be directed to Humane Society At Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450. "The Class of 57 Had It's Dreams."

Dear John, I just happen to notice Linda's passing. I am so very sorry. Lou and I enjoyed getting to know her when we worked on the Kosovo settlement at St. John's She was a lovely, caring person. Sincerely Marilyn (Trickey) and Lou Andolino

John, It has been many years but I think of you and Linda very often. You both were kind and welcomed me when I visited you. We both worked at Xerox. I am truly sorry for your loss but we both know you will see her again.
