DeFranco, Salvatore "Sam"
Greece: Passed peacefully on September 22, 2017 at age 88. Predeceased by his mother, Angelina Daddazio and sister, Lillian Gangemi. Survived by his children, Trish (Nick) Harding, Angela (Lou) Brongo, Anthony (Sandra) DeFranco, Maria (Mike) Mannix and Frank (Jennifer) DeFranco; sister, Rita Barricelli; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sam served over 30 years with the Postal Service, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. To learn more about Sam, visit www.bartolomeo.com
No prior visitation. Services and interment were held privately. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 in memory of Sam.

Uncle Sam, you will be missed , by many more than I. Say hi to Ma for me. I'm sure she was excited to see you. We will be sad your gone. And, may all my first cousins hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived......

Dad, it is hard to believe that you are no longer with us. You were the healthiest man I ever knew up to 87 years old. You used to always say - your lucky because the only thing wrong with you was your hearing. Then you finally got that hearing aid and I was too loud!! I will miss your sense of humor and the way you would say Maria in that deep voice when I said or did something wrong! It will be strange not having you around at family gatherings and Holidays. May you rest peacefully with Grandma and Aunt Lil. Love you Mia
