I was honored to have Linda for a friend and musical colleague. She was super talented, so smart and practical, and kind. I send my condolences to Wesley, Lisa, Alex and Ben.

Prayers of peace and comfort for Linda's family and many friends. Her Dad and my Dad were first cousins. We didn't connect until about a year ago when we had lunch together. We vowed to do it again. I had a family picture to give to her. Life and health issues got in the way and it kept getting put off. Never put things off until tomorrow that which if I had worked harder could have been done yesterday. That angel band just got a little bit sweeter. Sheree Wylie Roberts

Linda and her dulcimer lesson books were one of my first teachers. She was so patient and calm with this beginner student years ago. She and I even played together at a home-school meeting in Arlington, Texas, once--I'll never forget that time, playing a simple duet I could manage with one of the greats! What a legacy of music and dulcimer players she's left us all! I can only imagine how strongly she'll be missed by family and closer friends. My thoughts and prayers for your comforted and peaceful transition without Linda here on Earth are sent your way.

Thinking of you all, especially during this time--Susan Martin, San Antonio, Texas.

Linda was fun, generous, and dedicated both as a dulcimer player/instructor and as a friend. I will miss her sage advice and guidance, her humor and her friendship. We enjoyed swapping stories about our music and our children. Carrie and I wish Wesley, Ben, Alex, Lisa, and their families comfort in this time.
