Great guy! I remember the trip from Spokane Alan and Michael Davidson and I had to the Tri Cities for the Columbia Cup. Nothing but fun! He will be missed by all our class members.

Thinking of Alan today, I always used to either call or email him around his birthday, which was August 23rd. I have enjoyed reading everyone's warm and vivid memories of him. Alan and I were high school sweethearts and we always kept in touch.

Such sad news...
I first met Al in Spokane, WA in 1979. I moved there after my husband, John Walsh and I got married, for John to complete law school at Gonzaga. A force of nature with non stop energy, the A in Al stood for adventurous. It's been years since I've seen Al; but the mark he made on my heart will live on forever. Rest in peace, Al. Wow. No more Alan. The world has lost a special soul. I had the pleasure of spending 3 years of law school in the very large circle of friends that Al quickly amassed. I never thought for a minute that we would be away from each other, never to connect by more than a few phone calls and one visit over the next 35 years. I though of him often and expect he did the same.

My finest memory was walking off stage together at graduation, two young guys whose name started with a "P". In each other's arms we raised our diplomas high, and laughed knowing there were more than a few out there that wouldn't have bet on it.

RIP amico.
