She was an integral part of Holy Trinity Parish. She was the head sacristan for many years. Her absence is felt as you come in the sacristy. Billye was a sweet lady who did not let her ailments defeat her; therefore, an example for all. She is missed by all.

Billye was my dear friend & neighbor. I will miss her kind greetings and most of all, our little talks. She is walking streets of gold with the most beautiful trees and flowers, now.

During the years Billye spent in Charlotte with the Charlotte Hornets she was simply "the best." She not only kept us all straight with her organization, humor and wisdom but she loved us and we all loved her right back. She's now getting things organized in Heaven and loving every minute of it.
Deepest sympathy to her daughters and her grandchildren.

Diane, I am so sorry for you and your family. You and Billye are two of my favorite people--EVER. It's just so sad that you've lost her. You'll always hold her in the memories of all of your great adventures...and crazy travel companions:). I'll always remember the two of you and your loving banter and laughter. Rest in peace dear Billye.
