Dear Ones,
It was just a year ago that Bruce sent out his letter advising that the season was the "winter" of his life. He asked for letters from us sharing memories. I sent my lengthy letter of love, support, and gratitude on 11/23/16. It is still posted to my bedroom mirror, but I don't need it to hold him and our shared family memories close.

Just know that I'm thinking of you all -- nephews, nieces, and former in-laws! Know also that I still hold you all close.

Dear Randy, Ellen, and Clark,

I just learned of the passing of your father. A truly wonderful man with a wonderful family.
Not sure if you remember me (Jeff Freeman) or my family from the '60s. We spent time together at your house, great memories. I'm a couple years younger than Clark. Val and Lisa Freeman are my parents. My Father, Val, passed on last year. Jill and Becky Sue are my sisters.
I remember your family well and when you went to Lebanon. We lived directly across the street from your Father's church on Williams Street. We were at church every Sunday.

Very best wishes to all of you,

Jeff

The Andrew Ross MacKenzie family would like to extend our condolences to my cousins, and the entire network of people who loved my uncle Bruce MacKenzie.
He will be remembered by us for his smile and bubbly personality. Uncle Bruce had a great attitude toward life and was an exceptional example of how to live with grace and patience.
He dedicated his life to what he believed in, and was,...in my opinion, a Sage for that reason.
He will be missed by many,... However,... we choose to focus not on grief but to celebrate his accomplishments out of respect.

I believe he would have liked that. :)

My biological father died when I was too young to appreciate the value of a paternal figure. Thankfully, Bruce and Jeanette filled that gap in my adolescence teaching me the value of compassion, tolerance, and humanity. Their home at 2350 Glenwood Drive was a haven of enlightenment and benevolent guidance. Eternally grateful for your generosity and hospitality.
