I didn't know Byron personally, but I have known his son Larry for many years. I know he must have been a wonderful person to have raised such an extraordinary son. I am sure he will be missed by all of his family more than any words I could ever write. I am so sorry for your loss.

Please find reassurance in the scriptures recorded in the bible at Matthew 5:4.. "Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted".

I have know the Selbe family and Byron for over fifty years. During that time I accompanied Byron and his family on many enjoyable hunting, fishing, camping and other out door trips like the trips to Grand Lake and of course the many trips to Dino's for dinner. During these past years I got to know Byron quit well. What I knew about Byron is that he was compassionate, quite and a family man. He was soft spoken and always had that corky smile on his face. Who could forget that? Byron will be missed but not forgotten. Let us not forget the time that he served for God & Country. God Bless Byron.
