Dear Mrs. Hastings, Leslie, Nancy, and Jane. Don was the best ever. I just heard about his passing. After all these years, I can still remember his charm, grace, and love of life. I remember his love for the four of you. I remember his fairness and work ethic. I remember how he mentored employees. I remember how well he treated everyone. I never met Jim Lincoln but I felt I did, because of the way that Don spoke of him. I have never met anyone that compares with Don Hastings. I wish the best for all of you.

Dear Shirley and family. I was so very sorry to hear of Don's passing. You and he were a couple of elegance and grace. I remember so fondly the times both Jim and I spent with you. All my very best and sincerest thoughts and prayers to you and your dear ones. Love Dede Storer

My father, C.L. Stocker was Don's "boss" in the San Francisco Bay Area in his early years. So proud of Don's career. Shocked to hear of his death. When my father died Don came to the service and still talked about my father as "boss". They did really like each other!!!! Sorry for your loss Shirley.
