We are all so lucky to have had Enid in our lives. My children and I never had the pleasure of knowing Al, but we know a lot about what he was like through John, we know that we would have been lucky to have known him like we were to have known Enid. Enid was one of the few truly selfless people in the world. She gave you her love, her smile, her heart, her goodness, and she never expected anything in return. She would talk to anyone who was near her (she passed that onto her son!), and she never had a bad word to say about anyone. It is not easy to find people like Enid in the world today, and while she very much lives on in her children and grandchildren, she is truly missed by all who knew her. We all feel very blessed to have had the time with her that we did, and she was a living example of what it means to be a good human being. We miss her every day.

May God bless Enid (and Al) until we see them again.

I can not begin to put into words how much the both of them meant to me and my wife Jane. We were in our early '20's when we moved into the little farm house as their next door neighbors & tenants in 1975. They opened up to us as family from the beginning. We lived next door to them and the kids until 1978 and even though we moved physically we left a part of our heart behind.

Their demonstration of God's love for All of us had a life changing impact on us both. They shared life values with us that were based on their walk with Christ and love for people that have guided us to this day.

May God bless all who knew them both.

With the deepest sympathy from our family to yours.
I first met Enid when she lived over by Baker Elementry. Her granddaughters Sandy & Ann went to school with my daughter. Laveda and the girls were living with her. Enid's home was our home and no matter who you were she always welcomed you. She was a great Mom & grandmother and I know my kids & I will never forget her smile and love she shared with everyone. to the family -

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. May all your memories bring smiles, laughs and great comfort as you remember your time together and visit and tell stories on your memories with each other. It was wonderful to see everyone at the Young ranch last summer enjoying Ella's birthday and we so enjoyed visiting with Enid. With warmest memories.
