So sad to hear of your loss. Mrs. Brunot as we so fondly always called her, was one of my daughters teacher at Columbine Elementary. We remained friends throughout the years! Jane was a beautiful, loving spirit and we will miss her dearly. She had my girls over for tea at her beautiful Mother Goose Book Store at her home. We shared Christmas cards for 25 years.. I loved Jane and she is now with the Lord singing with the angels now!
With fond memories,
Maureen Piazza

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

My (now) 49-year old son had Jane as his 4th grade teacher at Columbine. She created a "mini-society" complete with their own monetary system. His future as a successful CFO of a major corporation was born! She was a wonderful creative teacher who made learning fun and exciting thus bringing out the best in every child. I'm very glad I had to opportunity to tell her this in person after a Jubilate concert several years ago.

You, the family, have so many wonderful memories, each of which will bring a smile to your heart as you revisit them throughout the years.
