Great memories of playing soccer on the Hotspurs with Joel and friends. Joel's sure hands in goal gave us many victories in the 80's and 90's. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Dr Chavez, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. You were like a father to all of us at PVCHC. We always asked, where is Dr Chavez today? When you were not at work, you were always missed. You will be missed dearly. God bless and rest in peace. Elaine.

Joe was on my little league baseball team in Edgewater from about age 9-11. We had great times: winning the Jeffco league once and runners up twice. I lost track of him after his family moved to another part of town. I have fond memories of Joe, and I wish I had know him later in life.

I worked with Dr. Chavez at PVCHC for over ten years. I looked forward to his funny stories, and his offbeat comment about life. He could always make me smile. I'll miss you dearly.
