Your family means so much to me and to Denver's community! I remember taking your mother to the Colorado Historical Society (History Colorado) to donate some of the Escoolites' materials. I remember when she would visit the Escoolites' practices that were held in the Rocky Mountain Lodge #1 on 28th and Downing Street. We ascended those stairs to drill until times got better. Escoolites' creator Mrs. Beulah Adams and Drill Master and Leon Davis were our champions. Mr. Davis and his wife owned a cleaners in Five Points. This team made history by helping young girls to become women with obtaining high-reaching goals!
Marion was a quiet, polite, sweet person. I shall remember her ...
