Grandpa,
I certainly can not believe it is almost coming up on a year since you left to go be home with the Lord. Needless to say, it has not been easy. I have so many memories with you growing up. I am so glad that I was able to make as many visits home as I did during college. I will never forget those evenings eating with you, laughing and hearing such a rich history. I miss you. Every day. I am doing my very best to make you as proud as I can.

Long, long ago, I remember walking to the Williams' (2 neighbors down on 14th Dr.) to feed their cats and check some other small things while they were on vacation. I must've been all of 8 or 10 years old. It was probably the first time I had to figure out how to use an electric can opener! (Or my memory fails me.) Mr. Williams led a life of love and giving. He and his family have been consistent good neighbors. May the memories and love of friends and family ease this loss.

Bill was a dear neighbor for many, many years. He was soft spoken and kind. Except to squirrels!!
I will never forget his remarking "Good Night!" a phrase I had not heard before.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family
