C. Starbuck Obituary

Passed away Friday March 3, 2017 in Greenwood Village, CO. Jerry was born in Greeley CO on March 17, 1930, to Ellis and Virginia Starbuck. There he discovered a love for fishing that would last the rest of his life. This fondness for fishing turned into a love for fly fishing in adulthood, and Jerry shared that love with his children and his friends throughout his life. Jerry served 5 years in the United States Navy, and then attended C.U. Boulder, where he also made life long friends in his fraternity, UCB Kappa Sigma. He would go on to receive his law degree from the University of Denver. Jerry practiced law in the Denver area for over 40 years. He made lifelong friends in his professional and personal life, and he will be remembered by so many for his kind and gentle spirit and a deep desire to help others. Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathleen Kennedy Starbuck, his children David, Leslie, Matt, Shaun and Joel, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, March 10 at 11:00 am at Wellspring Church 4300 S. Lincoln St. Englewood, CO 80113 Reception will follow at the church. Private inurnment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
