Dale Yoakum Obituary

Dale G. Yoakum, of Lakewood, CO. was a graduate of D.U. Law School, a self made architect; he and his wife, of 57 years, Gerry Cuzzetto Yoakum, built their own home by themselves. They met in college in September 1953. Dale was born in Tacoma Park, MD and was raised in Dallas, TX. Besides his wife, he leaves behind brother's in law and sister's in law, John and Trina Cuzzetto, Marie and Charles Miller, and sister in law, Christine Brabb, all of Pueblo, CO., and many nieces and nephews. Dale will be buried in Aguilar, Co., in the Cuzzetto family plot, in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. He will also be missed by his beloved cat, Foxie.

Dear Gerry and Foxie,

We were so very sorry to learn of Dale's death. You have our deepest sympathy and you are in all of our thoughts and prayers.

Dale was always an interesting person. He saved my life at the Denver Airport when he came out when I was having an insulin reaction!
He was the reason I took up the guitar. His homemade car was also an amazing feat.

He goes to a better place, and we hope you are getting some needed rest.

We are having Easter at our house this year, so if you want to come down, please know that you are more than welcome. I know you would have lots of places to stay.

Again, please accept our sympathy.

Love, Earl, Jean, Matt, and Megan Kiddie
