Gary and I are cousins. I spent several summers at his Mom and Dad's house helping to take care of him and his brothers. Gary was a very active and mischievous child. He was always in to something, whether it be trying to flush a kitten down the toliet, or eating a grasshopper and then getting sick in the car. I loved those summers being with him and his brothers.
Even though we didn't get to see each other much after we were grown, we tried to keep in touch some what as we lived across country from one another.
The last time I saw him and his family was at his son's, Eric's, wedding. We had a great time remembering old times and the laughter we all shared.
I will miss him, but I know that one day I will see him again in Heaven.
My prayers are with his family whom he love d very much.

"I hope you have found peace wherever you are," Gary. You were far too young to die. I will always remember you as a quiet-spoken, good tempered soul even when you were fighting the good fight. I send my good thoughts and vibes to your family.
