The Painters Ridge Board of Directors and community members were fortunate to have John leading the charge in forming our Home Owners Association and than Managing it until his retirement in 2016. His knowledge of the workings of the Castle Rock Town Council and Staff, and history of development of the Crystal Valley communities were invaluable to our Association. Even after retirement he was always willing to field questions when we had them. We miss him. Painters Ridge Board of Directors

Jan & Family,
I was very sorry to learn of John's passing. John and I went to different schools together in Butte. We renewed our friendship in Colorado over 35 years ago and we have kept in touch through our lunches over the years. He was a myriad of information about Butte and my source for answers to questions about our home town. His musings about Butte and the world will be deeply missed. He was a great guy! My most sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss.

John O'Connor was truly one of the most memorable person whom I have ever met. I will miss our lunches and his story telling, but mostly I will miss the twinkle in his eye. Jan I am out of town when his service occurs but my prayers and sympathies are with you and your family.
