To the George's
My deepest condolence's. Rick was a kind and generous man. He helped me in my career and I will never forget what he did for me. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

I worked with Rick as a Director of Penn West for over 3 years, he invited me onto the Board and was a great mentor and friend. His performance as Chairman was exemplary, and besides his incisive intellect he always brought a light touch and a bit of humor to our meetings and other events. He was a great leader and will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to all Rick's family and friends. It was a pleasure and an honor to have the opportunity to be his colleague if only for too short a time.

To the entire George Family,
My sincere condolences to you.
I had the pleasure of interacting with Mr. George on a number of occasions during my many years in the Calgary area.
His contributions to his adopted Country and the Business Community will (I trust) live on.
He will be missed and remembered.

To family, friends and former colleagues.

My sincere condolences, really sad to hear of Ricks passing.
I got to know Rick as a true professional oil and gas man. But what I appreciated the most, was his integrity and warmth. It was obvious from our chats that he was proud of his kids and wife, still in love.
